Going Into Another Nation
Rich wants to let everyone know that THEY are going into another nation to make disciples! God put Africa on his heart in April, and we waited for him to show us where.  In the last three weeks He has spoken clearly to them and now we are in the early stages of exploring a new children's work in ETHIOPIA.
They are excited and will keep us informed in their newsletters. It will mean more than doubling our BASE of support, not doubling the amount from those who already support us...Please pray with us as the next three months will be very defining in terms of what we will be doing.  I am planning an exploratory trip to Ethiopia in the beginning of January.
Rich’s words: Don't you love it not only when God speaks, but when He yells in your ear???
Blessings, Rich
The Brenna Engle Foundation
(A Non-Profit Corporation)
I am honored to have Richard Engle and Donna Engle join us. Their Christ-centered mission is a message of love in action which has solidified into a mission like no other. They founded the Brenna Engle Foundation which came into being following the tragic death of their 3-year old daughter, Brenna, in an automobile accident in February 2005. Since then, the Foundation has evolved into Brenna's Home in Lutsk, Ukraine, and Brenna's Basement in Poughkeepsie, NY.
They provide shelter and care for abandoned and underprivileged children in Ukraine, and provide donated clothing and household items to needy children and families through "Brenna's Basement" in the Mid Hudson Valley. Supporting local organizations include LOVE INC, CareNet Pregnancy Center, Hudson Valley Healthy Families, The Grace Smith House, Hudson River Housing, and others.
Brief Bio on Rich and Donna (for more details see attached pdf documents):
Donna is mother to Brenna in addition to one other daughter. She is a Registered Nurse and received her B.S. degree in Nursing from Downstate Medical Center in 1981. Donna purchased a place in Ukraine for a permanent 'Brenna's Home' which is used for extended visits and for hosting missions teams.
Richard is Brenna’s father. He has more than 30 years combined experience in Environmental Health with Harvard University, IBM, and Mirant Corporation. He holds degrees from Messiah College and the Harvard School of Public Health. Previous missions experience includes two years teaching 5th and 6th grades with Navajo children at the Brethren in Christ Mission near Bloomfield, New Mexico.
